Abstract:Based on Ansys finite element software, the numerical simulation of X type, double K type and K type truss framed leg configurations is carried out. The stress and displacement of the three types of truss framed legs are studied under storm survival conditions. The results indicate that: the stress of all three types of truss framed legs is below the allowable limit, meeting the safety requirements; the maximal stress occurs at the joint between the leg and boot, and the maximal displacement is observed at the free end of all three types of legs; the maximal stress and displacement of X type leg are the minimal among the three types of legs, and the stress of X type leg varies little along the leg. The results can provide design reference for the engineering application of deep sea jack-up aquaculture net cage.
